Schlechter Zigarren-Deal für Zöllner
Übel hat das Leben zwei spanischen Zöllnern mitgespielt. Nach dem Zustecken einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit – zwei Kistchen Zigarren – liessen sie am Zoll des Flughafens Malaga angeblich ein Paar mit Zigarren im Wert von 3500 Euro ungehindert passieren. Die Staatsanwaltschaft beantragt 8 Jahre Haft, 10 Jahre Berufsverbot und eine Strafe von 365 Tagessätzen à 12 Euro.

(…) The prosecution is asking for eight years in prison for two Civil Guard officers on trial for taking bribes at Málaga airport’s Customs control.
They are charged with letting a couple go through Customs without having their luggage examined, in exchange for two boxes of Cuban cigars.
The officers allegedly let the couple through carrying over 3,500 euros worth of cigars.
They also face a ten year ban from their profession, and a 12 month fine of 12 euros a day.
